The design solution is based on a containerized RAS facility, with connections to the existing support systems (energy central and water intake).
The system has two RAS units, each consisting of a drum filter removing particles from the water, each dimensioned with a capacity of 55m3/h. The water from the drum filter is collected in a reservoir and is pumped to the Co2 degasser – the water goes by gravity from the degasser into the reservoir, where the water can be bypassed back to the drumfilter sump.Â
From the degasser the water is pumped through a UV and the transmutation level of the UV´s is set to 85% T10 50mj/cm2.
From the Comphatch systems the water flow returns to the drum filter by gravity, the level for the CompHatch needs to be high enough or the RAS container needs to be installed low enough to secure that water can return by gravity.
