North AquaCulture was founded in 2021 by a group with accomplishments in the design and construction of RAS facilities. We are based in Grindsted, Denmark and have recently established a branch office in Oslo, Norway.
Devoted to delivering the best solutions for your RAS facility
The company’s purpose is to operate within sale, design and production of recirculation systems for aquaculture systems (RAS systems). Furthermore, the sale of consultancy services and project services within engineering and assembly work as well as related activities.
The company specializes in the design, production and operational optimization of RAS systems. The goal and focus is to deliver the best solutions within RAS systems in collaboration with our customers and with a strong focus on ensuring that the RAS systems operate optimally from the time of commissioning.
The overall objective is that delivered RAS facilities must be synonymous with sustainable fish farming.
Over the course of 3 years, the company has built up a great deal of knowledge regarding the construction of a large, modern Grow-out fish farming facility for the production of salmon from eggs to ready-for-slaughter salmon.
Plants like these have a strong focus on sustainability, where the environmental footprint must be minimal, discharge of waste water takes place through an active sludge plant, so that the load of waste water is reduced to a minimum.
Our team consists of 40 specialized and qualified RAS-industry professionals, with many years of experience in their respective fields. We are motivated by delivering reliable and sustainable landbased aquaculture facilities, focusing on improved fish welfare and reduced environmental impact.
Thanks to the combined experience of our back office and on-site team, we are able to design and build a wide range of systems, from hatcheries to full grow-out RAS facilities. With previous experience from executing projects in Denmark, Norway, Canada, China, Chile and Scotland, we offer a wide range of services globally while customizing our technology to local needs.
